The Disney Fantasy entertainment was top shelf. The shows were Broadway caliber; the comedians made me laugh so hard my abs hurt; the hypnotist was very entertaining (& even had the skeptics in our family believing!).

Your dining rotation each night aligns with the timing of your theater seating for the evening show. Even if the title of the show doesn’t overly excite you – don’t miss it! We thoroughly enjoyed each evening presentation, including the family movie night. You’ll also get a glimpse into the next day’s activities, when the Cruise Director gives his tantalizing talk of the excitement to come.

The ship had multiple venues for shows and activities, each with their own theme & flare:

Walt Disney Theater:

This magnificent theater takes up multiple decks and seats 977 people. This is where you will see the cruise’s main events and theatrical productions. It’s also where you’ll conduct the ship’s initial emergency brief (required) and the location of where many of the excursion groups meet prior to debarking the ship.

Buena Vista Theater:

This 268-seat cinema is where you can view popular Disney movies, new releases, 3D films and more!

Lobby Atrium:

When you first enter the Disney Fantasy, it will be here into this lobby – your name announced to the cheers and ovations of a line of cast members. This 3-deck open lobby has marble an stone inlay floor, a 10-foot diameter glass chandelier, a grand piano, statue of Minnie Mouse, and all of the décor your would expect to see in a regal reception area.

The Tube:

Part of the Europa Entertainment Area (Aft Deck 4), this British-themed club is complete with Union-Jack-lit floor, lounge seating, stage, and even English phone booths! While this is an adult club, it does host multiple family comedy / entertainment acts. Our favorites here included Magic Dave’s hilarious (not so magical) show; Bean & Baily’s comedy routine; and Juggling funny-man, Michael Holly.

La Piazza:

Part of the Europa Entertainment Area (Aft Deck 4), this Italian-motif bar is shaped like an old carousel with Venitican mask wall-hangings and even a Vespa with sidecar (kids liked this!).

D Lounge:

This is the family entertainment lounge area! This is the spot for karaoke, family game shows, and more! We were picked for a fun family trivia game (Host: “Robby G”) – lots of laughs!

Outlook:

An intimate cocktail lounge that is high atop Deck 14 on the forward stack. This location hosts live piano music and other entertainment.

O’Gills Pub:

Part of the Europa Disney Fantasy Entertainment Area (Aft Deck 4), you’ll think you’ve stepped into a genuine Irish pub – complete with HD flat screen TVs to watch the game and your favorite pint!

Skyline:

Metropolitan bar where you can grab a cocktail and chat with your fellow cruise passengers. The scene behind the bar rotates between 7 city skylines that change gradually from day to night (very cool!).

Funnel Vision – Pool Deck:

Every night, the large TV screen that faces the pool area becomes a spot to enjoy a Disney movie when hanging out on Deck 11. On many nights, we went up to Deck 11 for an ice cream cone or cup of coffee, only to find ourselves getting sucked into the night’s movie while the kids ran around on the Sports Deck, slides, and pool.

Deck 4 – Shuffleboard & Running Track:

If you’re looking for an area off the beaten path, try going out on Deck 4 and relax in a lounge chair, play a little shuffleboard, or go for a jog around the exterior track (2.5 laps = 1 mile).

The Disney Fantasy entertainment is one of the key elements that makes the cruise experience such a good one. There is no much to do: Shows, Movies, Rides, Games, Trivia, and much more.

Be sure to check out the Navigator each night on your cruise to see what’s happening the next day. There is something for everyone!
